Over Easter Break, 8 students and two faculty traveled to Wheeling, WV to participate in the Appalachia Service Immersion program at the Appalachia Institute. Students learned about the history of coal mining in the region (even having dinner with a coal miner), served the community through various programs such as The Soup Kitchen of Greater Wheeling, GROW OHIO, Edelman Garden for the Blind, and Appalachian Outreach Institue.
