Did you know the Bellingham Central Library was built in 1951 for a population of 35,000? The ground floor Children's Library was last remodeled 40 years ago, in 1985, for a population of 47,000. The same space now serves a population that has more than doubled to nearly 100,000! The Library's current children’s and teen areas require a refresh to meet the needs of today’s families.
