Cyanokit (aka hydroxocobalamin) is commonly used in patients with cyanide poisoning after structure fires (as a matter of fact a lot of fire services have a dose of it in the chief/capatin trucks to use if firefighters encounter cyanide toxicity) but DID YOU KNOW it can also be used as a last ditch effort to bind up nitric oxide in super sick distributive shock patients??
