Showcasing my African Bullfrog Enclosure

During the dry season, the giant bullfrog can spend up to ten months lying low in an underground burrow awaiting the arrival of the rains. Cocooned in a blanket of dead skin with most of its organs in stasis, the massive frog lies dormant until the first drops start to penetrate the parched ground. Like an army of the undead, the bullfrogs emerge from their burrows and begin to feed. Bullfrogs are ambush hunters and will eat everything from rats and lizards, to birds and insects.
