In Colorado "hunters," many from out of state, pay "guides" thousands for a "guaranteed kill" of a mountain lion as a trophy. They do this using radio collared dogs who drive the terrified cat up a tree. The radio signal lets the "guide" bring the "hunter" to the tree so they can shoot the defenseless lion at point blank range.
